Anxiety gets treated like a problem to eliminate, and that framing often makes it louder. Anxiety is your system trying to protect you, usually from something that mattered at some point. The work isn’t to silence it, it’s to understand what it’s pointing at and to build a different relationship with it. When people stop fighting their anxiety and start listening to it, it tends to settle. Not always quickly, but more than they expected.
